At Favorite Food Truck Finder, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal information. If you no longer wish to use our services, you may permanently delete your account at any time.

Deleting your account will permanently remove your personal profile and associated data from Favorite Food Truck Finder, subject to any legal or regulatory requirements.

Delete Your Account from the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the Favorite Food Truck Finder app.
Navigate to:
Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account
Follow the on-screen instructions to permanently delete your account.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
Once your deletion request has been processed:
Your Personal Information Will Be Removed

• Your profile information

• Your profile photo

• Saved favorite food trucks

• Followed foodies

• Saved events

• Search history

• Notification preferences

• App activity associated with your account
   

Food Truck Owner Accounts
If you own a food truck listing:
The following will be removed or deactivated:

• Food truck profile

• Business description

• Current location

• Menu

• Photos

• Event listings

• Public listing on the interactive map

• Analytics dashboard

• Customer engagement statistics
   

Subscription Cancellation
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Stripe subscription.

If you have an active Food Truck Membership, you must first cancel your subscription before deleting your account.
You can cancel your subscription by:

• Visiting your Food Truck Dashboard

• Selecting Manage Membership

• Accessing the secure Stripe Customer Portal

Or contact us for assistance.

If your subscription remains active after your account is deleted, recurring charges may continue until the subscription is canceled.

Information We May Retain
Certain information may be retained for legal, tax, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or security purposes, including:

• Payment transaction history

• Subscription records

• Billing history

• Fraud prevention logs

• Records required by applicable law
   

This information is retained only for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Processing Time
Most deletion requests are completed within 7 business days.
Some requests may take longer if additional verification is required.

Once your account has been deleted, you will receive a confirmation email at the address associated with your account.

Before You Delete Your Account
You may wish to:

• Download any information you want to keep.

• Cancel any active food truck subscription.

• Remove any scheduled events you no longer wish to publish.

• Notify followers or customers if you're a food truck owner.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I reactivate my account after deleting it?
No. Once your account has been permanently deleted, it cannot be restored. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Favorite Food Truck Finder again.

Will my subscription automatically stop?
No. If you are a Food Truck Owner with an active subscription, you must cancel your subscription separately before deleting your account.

Will my reviews disappear?
Yes. Reviews, favorites, follows, and other personal activity associated with your account may be removed or anonymized as part of the deletion process.

What happens to my food truck listing?
Food truck listings associated with a deleted owner account will be removed from public search results, the interactive map, and other areas of the app.
How long does deletion take?
Most requests are completed within seven business days after verification.
